Accessibility
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance.
That means SKB should work for readers using keyboards, screen readers, zoomed layouts, high-contrast settings, and other assistive technologies. Our goal is a reference site that is readable without visual clutter, hidden controls, or interaction tricks.
What we build for
We use semantic HTML so headings, lists, links, and page regions make sense to assistive technologies. We aim for sufficient color contrast, visible focus states, descriptive alt text on educational images, readable typography, and forms with clear labels. We do not use auto-playing audio or video. Navigation should be possible with a keyboard, and content should remain usable when text is enlarged.
Known gaps
SKB is still growing. Some older or newly launched pages may need additional review for image alt text, structured headings, skip-link behavior, or keyboard focus polish. Some AI-facing structured data may also expose labels differently than the visible page. We treat those as fixable defects, not design preferences.
Report an issue
If you find an accessibility problem, please contact us through the contact page. Include the page URL, what happened, what technology you were using if relevant, and what you expected instead. Accessibility reports are prioritized because access problems block people from using the reference at all.
